Syneste – dematerialized humanistic sans / serif

Syneste is a bizarre font in every way. Twisted outlines contradict the physical nature of letters in traditional printing techniques. They create an op-art illusion of the 3D world. Variable “Sans/Serif” axis is also more of a rarity, and the whole of this is underlined by the name of these variable axes. The term “Weight” is usually used for the thickness of the font, but it does not fit into the lightened, even weightless impression of the font, so it was replaced by the term “Color”, which in typography refers to the degree of coverage of the page with the font. The “Sans/Serif” axis is also replaced by the term “Taste”, which fits better into the concept. Confusion of the senses is also present in the very name Syneste. Despite the sci-fi expression, the skeleton of font is humanistic and we can also notice a certain “stylized calligraphy”. Syneste will serve the contemporary “augumented reality” aesthetics in various scientific, technological and other fields.
